This week for Chapter Chat there were a lot of options and it was hard to choose just one. But the one that popped out for me to do was the listening device. Instead of using a heap of cardboard I deiced to make a "Pocket Radio." So it wouldn't use as much cardboard and the paint wouldn't take as long to dry, so its a win win.
When I looked up listening devices in 1940 it came up with some really weird pictures, the best way I could describe it is Headphones but One-hundred times bigger. So I just stuck with my original design a "POCKET RADIO."
When it came to Hot Gluing, it all fell apart because there was a huge line to use the hot glue gun, so I rushed it, and it didn't go to plan. But I guess it still worked, just don't look at the back.
The straw represents the station to hear the other person. The button represents the dial to change channels.
Here's my finished "POCKET RADIO."
