Whetu Catapult Challenge

The things that I used to make my catapult were: 10 Popsicle sticks 2 big and the rest were small, 6 rubber bands and one plastic spoon.


To make my catapult I worked with some really kind people called Ihi and Stephanie.

The most challenging part was the TIME because we ran out of time. (Time was very precious) Also another challenging part was trying to find a catapult that worked, we made a couple catapults and they did not work but eventually we made one that kind of worked.

Our best results were the longest competition we got pretty far but did not make it into the second round.

Overall I think that we all did our best and worked together really well.

MURDER MYSTERY - THE MISSING STORY ENDING

This week for our Murder Mystery was to solve THE MISSING STORY ENDING. I worked with some fabulous people called Ihi and Stephanie, we wanted to work together because we knew we would solve it. I am very happy they wanted to work with me and we banged through it in one snap. While we were doing it we found a couple questions tricky but we encouraged each other, and got it done and the culprit was Florence!!!

I hope my detective buddy's enjoyed working with me because I enjoyed working with them.

Creative Emoji Challenge!!!

For this Week we had a challenge to create your own personalised emoji, but theirs a twist to it the emoji you make cannot be already made... That twist made it hard because there are more than 2,800 emojis made. Since most things I like to produce is aliens in there ships I deiced I would try to make that. It was pretty difficult because doing things on google drawing because is pretty hard. On Google drawings there are a lot of things and tools you can use and people are all at different levels. Then I made two more emojis one was Pacman and the other ghost, don't worry I checked and I did not see that those emojis were made. Yes there is a alien ship made but not a alien in there ship. At this moment in time I will tell you when I would use these emojis, I would use the alien emoji when I have to say I need to go, saying "Adios amigo see you in space" then use the emoji. I would use both the ghost and Pacman saying, "I am going to go get some food" then use the emojis because Pacman eats little dots to win the game an then the ghost would chase it so then I would be running after food.

Week 1 Reflection





My highlight for this week has been Dress up Friday. Dress up Friday has been my highlight of the week because I got to dress up in different clothes instead of our School uniform. Plus I enjoyed seeing what everybody else came up with.


I nervous about this week because I thought all the teachers were going to be dressed up in big suits, like surgery doctors but it turned out they wanted to spice it up with DRESS UP!!!





For dress up day I dressed up as a Raccoon and a Nerd. Your probably wondering how did I get both well... I put on my nerd outfit then my Raccoon onesie, it got I little sweating so I took of my onesie and turned into a nerd.





The funniest thing that has happened this week is when the new male teacher dressed up as a lady, it was the funniest thing in the world and I laughed the whole day.





I think the best dressed person was Paige because she was dressed up as a Hippy. She dressed up in a lot of things naming one was a wig and many more things.

Wacky Creative Wednesday! Make something with a Empty Milk Bottle!

My Milk Bottle Creation

The milk bottle creation I made was an indoor planter box that you can look after inside. I made this because sometimes people don't want to go outside to have to water your plants, so you can keep it contained and looked after. Also I made a spin top that spins really well.





The hardest part was finding somewhere to get dirt because we have dirt all around us, but if I made a big hole somebody might fall into it and hurt themselves.





The easiest part was putting the grass in the top of the dirt so it looked like something was growing. The easiest part for the spin top was adding tape around the edges to make it look different.





I enjoyed the whole thing: it was a brand new experience and I liked being free range and doing whatever I wanted or needed to do.

Movie Day Review

Today I did the movie review about the movie Forrest Gump. Like i said I love Forrest Gump its really good because its got funny jokes in it that will definitely make you laugh. Today I had a lazy day just chilling around and doing school work. 10/10 would recommend Forrest Gump to watch.

My Lockdown Digital Diary Task 1

This Week we got shared slides to do our Digital diary, either to our Future selfs, reviews of movies and a couple more. Today I decided to write a mini letter to Future me, the task was to say how to become calm if you were stressed or any other situation. Since we do mindfulness I wanted to do something  similar, I said to take 5 deep breaths and take a moment of silence for yourself you can do it. Maybe you could lay down or sit up to take your 5 breaths. I did many more sentences but I did not write them all down.

Chapter Challenge Task Bake Term 2 Week 4

This Week there was a new option that seemed fun and the task was named "Bake." You might be wondering why did I have to bake, well I had to bake something for the doctors in the hospital that helped fudge to become better. Then I deiced to make Neenish-Tarts and Double Chocolate Cupcakes. I called them Double Chocolate Cupcakes because I made Chocolate Icing to put on top. To top of the Cupcakes I sprinkled on some coconut. Next since I had a bit of time why don't I make a card to say Thank you. I made it colourful for joy instead of "BLAH" colours. Hopefully they like it. Today we finished the Audio book, which it went pretty fast but near the end I knew it was going to end because every book has a ending.
