SOUP COOKING GROUP

This Week I have joined in with the Cooking Group.

On the First day we talked about safety in the kitchen to be aware of what could happen. It highly won't but you never know. We also talked about what different kinds of Vegetables there are and what we could bring.

On the Second day we began to prepare our Vegetables and when I mean to prepare them I mean cleaning them and cutting them into small pieces. Eventually we put them into a huge pot and we waited until the next day.

On the Third day we got to EAT IT, most people didn't want to try it at all because they thought it was disgusting and they still thought that. But I thought it was one of the best soups EVER but it was seriously the BOMB!

The part I enjoyed the most was every part, I learnt new things every step along the way, I learned more about kitchen safety and techniques to cut vegetables.

Letter of the Week - W9 - T3

We have Whoogle back! Fred the Moths (Another Homeroom) decided to share their other learning to the  other homerooms have done, now its on Whoogle and its called letter of the week.

Every independent week the Teachers will chose a new letter this Week since its Week Nine its "G".  Its pretty difficult at first because your brain Juices just aren't flowing, but after a few questionings your brain starts flowing and feels like it  can't stop.

Some questions made me get Mr. Google to help, because I was clueless at the time but then I got the explanation and kept going.

Here's my Final  Product for Letter of the Week I think I put in the time and effort to make it Supernova.

Opt in workshop - RAD RHYTHM

For our Opt in Workshops this week we have been doing Rad Rhythm. This Workshop was so much different-er than the others, you would learn heaps and challenge yourself each day.

Since we are on the topic of learning the thing that I learnt the most was the different Notes for drumming. I liked how Miss Mac came up with a way to get us all to remember what they were all called, they call it the note family. There are Daddy Semibreve, Mummy Minim, Big Brother Crotchet and last but not least the Little Quaver Twins.

My favourite part was choosing a challenge partner, I chose Ihi because she felt like the right person, plus we laughed a lot.

I rate this workshop obviously a 10/10 Tu - Meke Job Miss Mac for coming up with a great Idea!

Here's a picture of me and Ihi practising

Pirate Coordination's - Worksheet of the day

This week instead of doing Number of the Day they changed it to Worksheet of the Day. Every day for this week and every other week we fill in a Math worksheet also known as Worksheet of the Day. For today I did the Pirate Coordination's Worksheet, its sounds pretty explanatory. It was fun and difficult at the same time but it challenged which is most important.

Here my Pirate Coordination's.

{Chapter Chat - Listening Device}

This week for Chapter Chat there were a lot of options and it was hard to choose just one. But the one that popped out for me to do was the...
